Homeschooling Programs Supporting Toronto & GTA
JK - GR 12

Our Passion is Education – Supporting Every Learner

We are proud to offer our high-quality educational programs both online and in-person at various locations, including the Markham Public Library and our main Centre in Markham.

In response to parent requests, we are excited to announce that we will be offering weekday programs for children ages 4 to 12 (JK to Grade 8) and tutoring programs for Grades 9-12.

Why Homeschooling Families Choose Our Programs

Parents choose our Centre for a variety of reasons, including:

  • A gentle start for young learners: Your child may be too young for the structure of public school, and you prefer a small, nurturing group environment.

  • Learning support: If your child has learning difficulties, a personalized approach may be more effective than a traditional classroom.

  • New to Canada: For families new to the country, our programs help children adjust, build English language skills, and gain confidence.

  • Support for homeschoolers: You may choose to homeschool for personal reasons and want additional academic support in specific subjects.

Whatever your reason may be, our team of certified and passionate educators is here to help your child grow, learn, and succeed.

Core & Enrichment Programs

1. Math

We cover the Ontario curriculum and integrate Singapore Math, known globally for its excellence in mental math, problem solving, and real-world applications. Progress is evaluated after each topic.

2. Language Arts
Following an assessment, students begin a customized program covering reading, writing, grammar, and spelling aligned with Ontario curriculum standards.

3. Science
Students explore grade-level Ontario science curriculum through engaging projects and hands-on experiments, encouraging deeper understanding and scientific thinking.

4. Social Studies & History
We offer an interactive and project-based approach to the Ontario Social Studies curriculum, enriched with Geography and Canadian/World History.

5. French
Based on an initial assessment, students join a Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced group. The program develops reading, writing, speaking, and grammar skills in a structured and engaging way.

6. Art
Students explore various mediums including pencil crayons, oil pastels, acrylic paint, and charcoal. They’ll learn to create landscapes, portraits, animals, abstract art, and animation-style drawings.

7. Coding
We offer multiple levels of in-demand coding programs:

  • Scratch: A fun, block-based programming language ideal for beginners (ages 8–16).

  • Python: Students with basic experience will dive into real-world programming skills.

  • Web Design: Students learn to build and customize their own websites using coding basics.

8. Public Speaking
Students learn essential skills for speech writing, presenting, creating PowerPoint slides, and developing confidence. They’ll also have multiple opportunities to present in front of peers and audiences.
