Our Team of Educators

  1. Our Educators at StudentScholars consists of Passionate Educators who are School Board Teachers or Subject Qualified (BSc. , MSc. , Or Ph.D.)

  2. Teachers.If you too have a passion, knowledge and experience in teaching programs to students from Ages 2 to adults, you are welcome to fill out the form available to you.

  3. We welcome individual teachers and organizations to join StudentScholars team of educators.

  4. We thank you for your interest to join the Team at StudentScholars Academic, Art & Music Centre Inc.

What We Offer

At StudentScholars Our Passion is Education. We work closely with our educators and provide the following services:

  1. Provide a platform for our educators to teach students online and onsite.

  2. Help you earn a part-time income.

  3. Advertise your programs on our social media to attract students.

  4. Handle administration such as student registration, collect program fees and communicate with parents so that our educators only have to concentrate on teaching.

  5. Communicate with educators to share ideas on how they could improve their programs and attract more students to their programs.

  6. Be there to assist our educators to solve any issues to help them to provide their services effectively and efficiently.

What We Look For

We look for 4 criteria when selecting our Educators:

Teacher’s Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience: You must have experience to teach the subject matter you would like to teach.

  • Passion for Teaching: Our Educators are passionate about teaching. Our objective at StudentScholars is to assist each student to succeed. If you are also passionate about teaching like us, you will be a great fit to our team.

  • Communication: You should be an effective communicator with good writing skills in English, be professional and respectful when communicating with students, parents, peers and management.​​

Authorization to Teach Children

  • You should have a Valid Police Clearance To Teach Children and Young Adults (Ages 2-18 years). It should be taken within 6 months of submitting this application.

  • This clearance is required in Canada, USA, Australia to teach children. It maybe called by different names. It includes a collection of offence information, including convictions, outstanding warrants, charges and judicial orders available from a local police agency’s records management system and other systems/records where authorized. Please contact your local Police Department to find out about it.

  • If you are a current school board teacher, you do not have to send this document but instead please upload your valid and active teacher certificate.

Program Contents

  • Your Program Content: You should create and provide an educational, descriptive and engaging program to teach your students.

  • Program Material: You should prepare program material to provide to your students for each class.

  • Progress Report: You should update the progress report for each student after each class. The parents will keep track of their child’s progress here.

Class Structure

  • Online Classes: You should have a quiet environment and a fast internet connection to teach online classes.

  • Onsite Classes: You should be able to commute to our location or to the student’s home/ preferred finalized location on time.

"Hi, I’m Sherine! I am a recent graduate from the University of Toronto, Rotman Commerce. I have been teaching French for over 5 years now. I attended a French school, the Lycée Français, starting the age of 4, where I completed the French Baccalaureate. I teach school and university students, as well as adults.
I joined StudentScholars because I was interested in tutoring and from the beginning I knew that my schedule would be flexible and that I would be able to decide on my class times.
